Ministries & outreach

Worship on Sunday, study through the week, and hands at work in the community. Here's where the life of our church takes shape.

Gathering, learning, praying

Worship

Sunday Midday Worship at 11:30 AM brings the whole congregation together for singing, prayer, and preaching. It's traditional in feel, unhurried in pace, and open to anyone who wants to be there.

Sunday School

At 10:00 AM we split into classes for children, youth, and adults. Each group works through Scripture together, with plenty of room for discussion and honest questions.

Prayer & Pastoral Care

Requests are prayed over by name. Whether you're facing illness, a job loss, or a decision you can't see through, our members will stand with you in prayer and follow up.

Children & Youth

Age-appropriate teaching on Sunday mornings, plus seasonal activities that give young people a place to belong in the life of the congregation.

In the community

Serving greater New London

Members of our congregation regularly prepare and serve food at area meal centers around the greater New London region. It's steady, unglamorous work: early mornings, full kitchens, and a lot of conversation across the serving line.

Alongside meal service, we support neighbors through seasonal collections and practical help for families in Groton who are going through a hard stretch.

  • Meal preparation and serving at regional meal centers
  • Seasonal food and clothing collections
  • Visits and check-ins with homebound members
  • Practical support for families in need

Through the year

Seasonal observances

Beyond our weekly rhythm, we mark seasons of the year with services the whole church looks forward to.

Feast of Tabernacles

An autumn observance of Sukkot, remembering God's provision and presence with His people.

Watchnight Service

Our annual New Year's Eve gathering with prayer, testimony, and song as the year turns over.

Resurrection Sunday

A joyful celebration of Easter morning with the whole congregation together.
